Sega Saturn
Game Patches

Two Sega Saturn localization patch families are publicly available: v0.5 (September 28, 2026) and v0.3 (October 5, 2026), each with three font options. Choose a release, select your own supported original files, then generate new patched files locally.

How the live patcher works

  1. Choose a released patch

    Select the supported game, released version and font.

  2. Select your own original files

    The patcher checks supported original profiles with SHA-256. Game files stay on your device.

  3. Generate and verify the result

    Apply the sparse patch and verify the output hash before saving new BIN/CUE files.

You need your own supported original files to complete patching. No original game content is supplied.

Reverse engineering. Measure, then improve.

Planned work

Loading & performance

Investigate loading paths and runtime bottlenecks in existing Sega Saturn games. Compare baseline and patched behavior before claiming an improvement.

Parallel architecture

Study the Saturn’s parallel processing design and test where its architectural ideas remain useful in today’s computing context. This is an open research question, not an established result.

Community feedback

Existing players are using the Korean patches. Bug reports and feedback can guide further work; broader demand and a commercial model have not yet been established.

Dapsimni AI is a self-funded sole proprietorship founded by Donghee Na in December 2025 and registered with South Korea’s National Tax Service. Our released browser patcher and public GitHub repository provide working software and reproducible validation records. We have no external investment. A broader commercial model is still being evaluated.

From shipped patches to repeatable workflows

Claude supports code writing, translation, binary analysis, reverse-engineering design, automated tests, patch releases and website deployment. The founder uses Claude Max 20x today. Planned API work will prototype localization consistency checks, code-analysis reports and regression-test generation, with human review and deterministic validation.
